Privacy Policy
Aftrglw is built for private voice reflection. This policy explains what the beta app handles, why it handles it, and the boundaries we keep around your recordings and reflections.
What Aftrglw is
Aftrglw is a private voice journal that lets you record reflections, keep source audio in your private vault, and request AI-assisted integration notes when you choose. Aftrglw is not therapy, medical care, crisis support, diagnosis, or treatment.
Information the app handles
- Voice recordings: audio you intentionally record in the app.
- Reflection notes: transcripts, themes, prompts, and report text generated from a recording when you request processing.
- Optional intention text: any context you type before recording.
- Anonymous app account identifiers: technical identifiers used to keep cloud processing scoped to your private storage path.
Aftrglw does not require your name, phone number, social account, or contact list for the current beta.
How processing works
Recordings start locally on your device. When you choose to process a reflection, the app uploads the recording to private cloud storage, sends a protected storage reference to the processing service, and receives a transcript and reflection report back. The processing service is designed to use protected references instead of public links or local device file paths.
AI providers
Aftrglw uses OpenAI to transcribe audio and generate reflection notes for the beta processing flow. Provider requests are minimized to the content needed to perform that task. We do not sell your recordings or use them for advertising.
Storage and deletion
Your local recordings and generated reports stay in your app vault unless you delete them. Temporary cloud uploads used for processing are intended to be deleted after processing completes. You can delete saved sessions from the app vault.
Tracking and advertising
Aftrglw does not use third-party advertising trackers in the beta app and does not sell personal data.
Contact and support
For beta privacy or support questions, use the support channel included with your TestFlight invitation, or visit Aftrglw Support.
This policy will be updated before any public App Store launch if the product adds accounts, subscriptions, analytics, sharing, or other data flows not described here.
